In January our firefighters decided to try out a new meeting and training schedule. We have been meeting every Monday evening. The first Monday is Equipment Maintenance and Business Meeting. The second Monday is fire training, the third Monday is maintenance and fire training, while the fourth Monday is EMS night. We've been putting in more hours but at the same time getting done earlier on the evenings that we meet.

We have done a wide variety of trainings these last few months. Including but not limited to: confined space training, grain bin rescue techniques, low-visibility search and rescue, stroke and cardiac procedures. We have also implemented a more routine housekeeping schedule to keep our station in tip-top shape!
